A proud native of Mississauga, Randy had hosted several television shows on Rogers Cable 10 for many years. He has hosted such talk shows as, Talk Local, Local Notes, Carassauga, Cable 10 Live and the official Marty Awards Pre and Post show and more.
A graduate of Television Broadcasting at Mohawk College, he won the highest honour in Television Broadcasting, the Andy Award, in his final year. From there, he went on to York University where he graduated in a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science. If that wasn’t enough, Randy is a graduate from the famous Second City for performing arts.
When not working on television projects, Randy is a sought after public speaker and event host for a variety events in Peel Region.
He has emceed for such major events such as the TEDx Talks Mississauga, The Marty Awards, The Bollywood Monster Mashup, Mad Hatters Ball for Alzheimer’s disease, The Princesses Ball for Cystic Fibrosis, Mississauga Waterfront Festival including the Pan Am Games, TD Mosaic Festival, Youth Day, Canada Day 150 and even Hazel McCallion’s first ever declared provincial day of recognition; plus many more.
His passion to entertain and captivate a crowd comes from his early days in the boxing world as Boxing Ontario’s Official Ring Announcer.
Randy serves on many committees and boards in the community. In addition to being elected to the Board of Directors for Carassauga as Vice – Chair of Marketing, Randy also joins the social justice group, Broadening Horizons as their Vice President. A proud supporter of the Mississauga Arts Council, he represents MAC as their outreach ambassador. The nation wide, GIVING TUESDAY movement is a part of Randy’s portfolio as he serves as the ambassador to the Mississauga #Saugagives chapter. He has even helped startup Mississauga Fashion week and Fashion Circuit series, with their marketing initiatives
