Aditya Narayan

Aditya Narayan Jha  is an Indian Bollywood actor, television host, composer and singer. He is the son of playback singer Udit Narayan. Aditya’s first playback song was in 1992 for the song of Hindi Fillm In 1995 he did a cameo in a song from the film Rangeela with Asha Bhosle. His acting career as a child began when Aditya was spotted by producer and director Subhash Ghai  who signed him for his forthcoming film Pardes, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Mahima Chaudhary. Narayan’s role as Kabir Dhanrajgir earned him a Best Supporting Actor nomination at the 1999 Zee Cine Awards.

As a child artist, Aditya performed more than 100 songs and also released the album “Aditya”. His song was Chhota Baccha Jaan Ke from the film Masoom in 1996 earned him the Screen Awards critics’ Best Child Singer in 1997. In 2009 Aditya signed his first film as lead actor, Shaapit, he sang four songs and also wrote and composed the title track for the film, “Shaapit Hua”. He hosted TV shows like Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs , Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge and X Factor.

In 2012, Aditya joined Sanjay Leela Bhansali as an assistant director for Ram Leela. He also performed two songs for the film, “Tattad Tattad”, which was originally supposed to be rendered by his father Udit Narayan, and “Ishqaun Dhishqyaun] Aditya’s various numbers like “Tu hi Pyar hai” with Gabriella Demetriades, ‘Tera Ishq Jee Paaun’ starring Yoshika Verma, composed by Arijit Chakraborty ,’Zindagi’ , ‘Behka Behka’ and ‘Yaara’ were all commercially successful and garnered over 5 million views on youtube.
