An Trio Ensemble

An’ trio is a traditional Persian music ensemble established in 2018. ‘An’ means ‘at the moment’/‘at present’ in Farsi; representing the word ‘improvisation’, a key element of Persian music. The fixed members of An trio are: Bamdad Fotouhi (Tonbak and Bendir), Kouhyar Babaeian (Tar) and Nima Safaei (Santour)
