While most other ten year olds were playing their video games, Parichay spent his time singing and deftly moving his fingers across a small keyboard. Within a few years, he established himself as one of the pioneers of Desi-Urban music in North America. Then he conquered the UK with his music. In 2012, Bobby Friction of BBC said, “It is a crime that Parichay is not the biggest name in Desi/ Bollywood music in the world”
A triple-threat artist, Singer-Songwriter-Music Producer, Parichay has swayed audiences worldwide with his 3 hits albums ‘No Boundaries’, ‘All New Everything’ & ‘4 Steps Forward’. Further, his vocals on Bollywood biggies ‘O Meri Chandni’ & ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana’ created a huge stir among audiences worldwide, establishing him as a voice to be reckoned with in the Hindi film industry.
In 2013, he set the stage ablaze at Times Square, NYC alongside Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor and music veteran Shankar Mahadevan thus adding to his growing list of performances at prestigious events such as IIFA Rocks, UK Asian Music Awards, Miss India-Canada & more. Just prior, he had performed alongside Bipasha Basu and Lisa Ray at the IIFA Buzz event in Toronto.
In 2016, Parichay created history in Bollywood as the 1st ever Non-resident Indian artist to have 4 (out of 5) songs featured in a mainstream Bollywood (Loveshhuda – a Tips Film). The soundtrack is being enjoyed by fans around the world with the 2 songs ‘Peene Ki Tamanna’ & ‘Dono Ke Dono’ still smashing the club & party scene. Parichay worked with artists such as Vishal Dadlani, Neha Kakkar, Gippy Grewal, Atif Aslam and Mithoon on the music for this film.
The most exclusive news however, is that Parichay has just released two brand new singles. The first, ‘Habitaan Vigaad Di’ featuring Bollywood beauty, Nargis Fakhri & Canadian Rap legend, Kardinal Offishall known for his songs with Akon, Drake, Sean Paul and Keri Hilson. Followed by ‘Saare Mundeya Nu’ featuring International pop icon, Sean Kingston, who makes his first appearance ever on a Indi-Pop track. Both songs have been extremely well received and are on everyones playlists with massive love pouring in from desis all over the world. Sean Kingston will also be touring India this March along with Parichay and should be a hevty treat for the fans.
In Jan 2018, Parichay is set to release a single titled “Let’s Get The Party Started’ featuring Haryanvi rapper, Fazilpuria, known for his smash hit song “Chull”. The song is rumoured to have a game-changing sound like never heard in India before along with catchy lyrics and a beat to get everyone bouncing on the dance floor.
With a rapidly growing fan base Parichay is here to stay and only getting started with Independent as well as Bollywood film music, with his best yet to come.
