Hard Nandi & Heema Nandi

Hard Nandi is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and music director whose work bridges Hindustani classical training with a modern, genre-fluid sound. As one half of the sibling duo Hard-Heema, he co-creates original music with his sister Heema Nandi, blending narrative songwriting with emotionally rich arrangements. Together, they founded OnTheRecord Music Label, an independent platform for their collaborative work. Their songs — including Kaho Na and Aao — have earned praise for their freshness and depth, while Hard’s 2024 track Naach Baka (released under Salim-Sulaiman’s Merchant Records) introduced his sound to a wider audience.
