Kalakaar Collective

Kalakaar Collective started with four international students from different parts of India who met in Canada and instantly bonded over one thing—music. What began as late-night jam sessions and long conversations slowly turned into something much bigger. We became a family, brought together by creativity, culture, and a shared passion. That’s how Kalakaar Collective was born. ‘Kala’ means art, and ‘Akaar’ means to shape, together, we shape our art into meaningful moments.

Over the years, we’ve grown and performed at more than 200 shows across Canada. From soulful Sufi to high-energy Bollywood, old-school retro to timeless traditional music—we bring a little bit of everything to the stage. Every performance is more than just music; it’s a celebration of community, culture, and connection.
