Melle Rose

Melle Rose is a down-home girl with a worldly background. She captures a myriad of pop fandom with a twist of smoky jazz tones. Originally from Kitchener, Ontario, she now calls the GTA home, but the world her stage.

Performing from age 7, in several local musical theatre productions, to cutting her first 3 tracked CD at age 12, Melle Rose’s love and commitment to singing/songwriting and performing was fostered at Eastwood’s School for performing arts and then continued through the completion of her Arts Degree at the University of Waterloo. Music grew from passion to profession; sharing the stage with the likes of Dean Brody, Michael Burgess, Susan Aglukark, and Melissa O’Neil. In 2016, Melle Rose, recognized for both musical and career achievements, was inducted into her High School’s Honored Alumni, alongside Cheryl Lescomme, Chairity Brown, Ian Ring, David Chilton, and more. Melle Rose, a Canadian Patriot, has sang anthems at national events ranging from Canada Day Celebrations, Remembrance Day Ceremonies, National Sporting Events, The Honda Indy, and Music Festivals.

Currently Melle Rose’s music is radiating on several frontiers; her latest track “Bad Woman” has been produced for Canada Sound, an initiative presented by cleansheet communications, CBC Music, SOCAN, JUNO Awards, and other partners. Canada Sound showcases the best sounds of Canada through music written and produced by local talent. On-Stage, this past year, Melle Rose performed as one of the headliner’s for Mississauga’s Canada 150 celebration in Port Credit.
