MISS POOJA

Gurinder Kaur Kainth, popularly known by her stage name Miss Pooja is a renowned Punjabi singer and performer who is making waves in the Punjabi music industry since 2006 and has worked with several other artists such as Diljit Dosanjh, Gippy Grewal, Yuvraj Hans and Babbu Maan.

Daughter of an army officer, she grew up in a military environment. As a child she was introduced to music by her mother who used to sing folk and devotional songs. She was influenced by her father's military background, which helped her develop a strong work ethic. She completed her schooling from Chandigarh and then pursued a Bachelor's degree in music from the University of Punjab in 2004.

In 2006, Miss Pooja began her career with the single ""Jatt Di Pasand"", which was composed by Babu Singh Maan. The song became an instant hit and gained her fame throughout the Punjabi music industry. Since then, she has released several successful singles, albums and compilations. Some of her most popular songs include ""Akh Da Nishana"", ""Jaan Ton Pyara"", ""Morni"", ""Date On Ford"", ""Tappe"", ""Rab Karke"" and ""Rangeelay"". Miss Pooja has collaborated with several other artists such as Diljit Dosanjh, Gippy Grewal, Yuvraj Hans and Babbu Maan.

In 2008, Miss Pooja was awarded the Best Female Vocalist award at the PTC Punjabi Music Awards for her song ""Akh Da Nishana"". In the same year, she was also awarded the Best Duet Vocalist along with Gurdas Maan for their song ""Tappe"". She has also won several other awards for her contribution to the Punjabi music industry.
