Neeraj Shridhar

 

Neeraj Shridhar is an Indian film composer and singer-songwriter who was the lead vocalist of Indian pop and rock group Bombay Vikings. Bombay Vikings became popular with remix hits like "Kya Soorat Hai", "Woh Chali" and "Chod Do Anchal. Born into a Punjabi Family in Hoshiarpur, he later moved to Mumbai to make the tinsel town his new home.

Neeraj started working as a Bollywood playback singer in 2006 with the song "Tumko Dekha" for the film God Tussi Great Ho starring Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra. In the year 2006 his songs "Halke Halke" and "Bhagam Bhag were huge hits, which opened all the doors for him to be successful in Bollywood as well.

It was never looking back for Neeraj in Bollywood.  His Chartbuster song β€œHare Raam Hare Raam” from Bhool Bhulaiya picturized on Akshay Kumar was the biggest hit of the year and was nominated for the Filmfare Awards. This iconic song was recently adopted back on Kartik Aryan from the blockbuster Bhool Bhulaiya 2.

Success continued when Neeraj gave hit after hit. He has worked with almost all the main Bollywood music directors and his songs have been picturized on top Bollywood actors like Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, John Abraham, Kartik Aryan and many more. He has been nominated for several leading awards including Filmfare, Stardust and IIFA.
