Pramesh Nandi

PRAMESH NANDI is a renowned vocalist of Mewati Gharana of Padmavibhushan Pandit Jasraj ji.  PrameshNandi, was born and raised in Gujarat, India, with the fragrance of music in his family. He was guided and influenced by many music teachers, and performers in the beginning, then leaned systematic Indian classical music of mewati gharana from pandit Shri Niraj Parikh. Advanced classical training was taken under the strict guidance of Pandit Hemang Mehta of mewati gharana, who is a senior disciple of Pandit Jasrajji. A "Guru-Shishya Parampara” is still maintained.

Pramesh has worked as a singer, actor ,music director and composer in TV serials in Gujarat. He has organized many musical events and shows across the globe. He has been awarded with "JEWEL OF THE COMMUNITY" award by officials of the Indian Consulate General of Canada in 2011 by Mehfil group. “Gem of the community by Brahmin Samaj of Ontario in 2013. Also he has been awarded as Most Favourite Singer of Canada in 2023. Award was given by Shri Kailas Kher. And Many more. He is very well known as “GARBA KING” of North America.

Pramesh is also the founder of Swargunjan Music Academy and serves as an Executive Director of the academy registered as a not-for-profit arts-based organization and has trained scores of local talents since its inception.
