Saikha
Saikha Baig is a young guitarist, percussionist, and educator with many years of experience in classical and world music and education. Currently graduating from York University, Saikha received the Karabekos Award for demonstrating performance ability in Non-Western music. She studied with renowned flamenco guitarist Roger Scannura, and has performed around the GTA such as at Sunnybrook Hospital, Luminato Festival, PEC Lavender Festival, Dance Ontario, Royal Canadian Legions, Carasauga, Vibrant, and many more with flamenco ensemble Ritmo Flamenco, York University’s Canadian Celtic Folk Ensemble, the Guitar Society of Toronto, Ayra Duo, flamenco fusion band Swaaga, and many others.

Michael
Michael Murray is a young guitarist with experience in a wide variety of musical styles and settings, having performed with such diverse acts as the Art of Time Ensemble, pop singer Sam Louis, musical theater productions Dear Evan Hansen and Little Shop of Horror, comedy act Garrett Jamieson and Sprattacus, Indian music superstars Karthik and Vijay Prakash, jazz fusion group Ten Meter Band, the John Cheeseman Jazz Orchestra, and many more. In addition to performing as an ensemble member and session player, Michael also performs as a solo classical guitarist and is the leader of his own trio, the Mike Murray Group, performing his original music. He also holds a 2019 Canadian Comedy Award for Best Variety Act as a member of Garriett Jamieson and Sprattacus.

Michael is a graduate from Humber College’s music program in Toronto, where he received the Ted Quinlan Guitar Award for excellence on the instrument. Just a few years after graduating he was asked to join the faculty at Centennial College’s Music Industry Arts and Performance program teaching private lesson and ensemble. He is a prolific and enthusiastic educator, teaching all styles of guitar including rock, jazz, classical and more, in various settings and formats.

Ravish
Ravish Kamath is a guitarist, film composer and teacher who has trained over 10 years in the classical and flamenco genre. A cum laude York University graduate, he has studied under the renowned maestro Roger Scannura in flamenco rhythms and flamenco guitar performance. An avid performer, he has performed in places such as Hamilton Fringe Festival, Toronto Fringe Festival, Carasuaga, Vibrant, York University Gospel Choir and multiple musical theatre productions. Currently, he is completing his Associate Diploma (ARCT) in guitar performance at the Royal Conservatory of Music. Ravish is excited to perform once again in the Vibrant Festival.
