Sharanjeet Singh Mand

 

Sharanjeet Singh Mand is an internationally recognized exponent of Sitar. He represents Ustad Vilayat-Khan's (Imdad Khani) tradition of Sitar, giving his first performance at the age of 16 at the Mother Teresa Homage concert in India.

Sharanjeet has made history by becoming the first-ever Indian classical musician to perform for the Juno Awards. He is also the first-ever non-western classical musician to be listed By CBC as Canada's 30 under 30 Hottest Classical Musician.
